*The technology trends having the strongest impact on society is the computer and smartphones. You can use your smartphone and computer as a web cam on Skype, Google and other sites. Also, you can use it a scanner, replace if for your wallet, identify things, live tv, universal remote control, car remote, accept credit card purchases, heart rate monitor, take measurements. You can pay your bills, order food, make reservations, and even consult with a doctor for minor things, from the comfort of your home, office, school, and car. It just about eliminate the interaction with people.
*How have change in society impacted the educational system? With all of this new technology in schools, a lot of the teachers that are apart of the Baby Boomers generation are retiring earlier because they are not comfortable using all of this new technology. In some schools the district have eliminated textbooks and replaced them with ebooks or Ipads.
*Are students different than they were 20 years ago? Yes, students are different. Students today take in information at a fast rate. So they are expecting to be using technology that will reflect how they thing and process information. Also, the classroom should be set-up in a way to foster the learning styles that is suitable for the students in this digital generation.
*What proactive steps can improve the educational system? Allow teachers to be involved in the decision making process along with the school board and legislation for the school district. Give the teachers the support needed with making the transformation on using the new technology in the classroom. Show teachers they are needed and their opinion does matter.
*Where should schools focus educational investments? Since we are living in a time where students are born into using technology. That's where the investment should be focused on. Now, only if the investments for the technology is available, but if not and if it affect any other teacher in the school district, then is should be rethought on the investment.

    1. What technology trends are having the strongest impact on society? Describe the changes.
In my opinion, smartphones have the strongest impact on society. Everyone almost has a smartphone from all ages. Everyone now can check his email from his phone wherever he is; there is no need to find a computer to read your email messages anymore. Furthermore, communicating with people around the world has become easier with social media and applications that are any smartphone contains. Also, smartphones have useful apps that are used for learning, education and regulatory purposes. In sum, smartphones make life easier because of easy communication and useful applications.

    2. How have changes in society impacted the educational system? Are students different than they were 20 years ago? If so, in what ways? How does this affect the classroom?
The educational system changes in accordance with changes in society. The educational system has become more technological that means providing more technological devices such as microcomputers, smart boards. Therefore, teaching methods and class activities have changed also to fit the educational system changes.
Students are different than they were 20 years ago in more from one aspect. First, they are more aware of what is going on around them because they are connected with others either via social media or messenger applications. Secondly, today's students are technologically advanced which may benefits them in their future careers like marketing, business management, engineering and many other professions.

    3. What proactive steps can improve the educational system? Where should schools focus educational investments?
Besides improving classroom design to look more technological, I believe teachers should be well prepared to teach "Digital Natives" as Prensky described them. Teachers need to improve their teaching methods to reach students' thinking. They need to know how to use technology in the classroom, to give multiple tasks, and to use play-teaching method. "So if Digital Immigrant educators really want to reach Digital Natives – i.e. all their students – they will have to," (Prensky, 2001).

What technology trends are having the strongest impact on society?
    Describe the changes.

A digital native, as defined by Prensky (2001), is one that is a native speaker of the digital language of computers, video games, and the Internet. These digital natives also have developed different thinking processes, which are similar to those of a processing unit, in such that these digital natives, want access to information without delay. The technology trends in alignment with the digital natives that are having the strongest impact on society, is the instant access and communication. This generation does not use email, as they want to have instant communication, rather than a delay (Madden, 2012). As Prensky (2001) states, they are used to the instantaneity of hypertext, downloaded music, phones in their pockets, a library on their laptops, beamed messages and instant messaging. Thus, with this as their standard, technology continues to create new pathways for communication to be more instant. Text messaging and video messaging continue to be improved to get messages to their intended audience quicker, with more efficiency and with more options. For example, more applications are being created to connect people and networks, outside of the given SMS messaging that is a feature of the phone. Groupme, and other group messaging applications allow you to stay in contact 24 hours a day with a specified group of your choice, making your communication with this group, instant.

How have changes in society impacted the educational system? Are students different than they were 20 years ago? If so, in what ways? How does this affect the classroom?

Technology has changed the educational system, in a way that we are still trying to adapt to and best use. Prensky (2001) discusses that in order to reach our digital natives in the classroom, we must integrate the way that they use technology. Technology in the classroom to digital immigrants means that each classroom has computers, however, this is an outdated way of seeing technology. It is possible that students of today already have different ways of thinking, thus we must do things faster, less step-by-step, more in parallel with random access (Prensky, 2001). We must also evaluate the content that we are teaching, and distinguish content that was relevant to the digital immigrant generation, and that that is digital native relevant. Thus, the classroom must begin to look and sound differently. Teachers must begin to embed tasks into activities, with increased pace and interactive functions in order to reach digital natives. They must be engaged, and the way to do this is presenting information in a way that activates their brain functionality.

What proactive steps can improve the educational system? Where should schools focus educational investments?

The focus of education at this point should be based on training the teaching force, which consists of the digital immigrant generation. This teaching force must be trained on the difference between the them and the digital natives. For example, understanding that due to the technology advances that the new generation was born with access to, their brains are stimulated differently, and thus, the instructional practices that once work successful in a classroom, is no longer adaptable to this generation. These teachers should be trained on applications that can be used to integrate into the classroom, specifically from writing a lesson plan that is paper to pencil based and lecture style, and transitioning it into one that embeds tasks and experiential learning for the students.

Individual schools should not focus on buying more technology, which is Oppenheimier’s debate, but rather on using what they do have more effectively. Schools must not only hire teachers that embody the mission of the school, but those that can express that there is a different in generation learning styles and are open to changing their instructional practices to be effective and engaging to this population.

    1. What technology trends are having the strongest impact on society? Describe the changes.
I think that smartphones can impact on society more than other modern technology. People can not dispense about their smartphone in the present time to many reasons. First of all, it is the fastest way to communicate with others, to report about emergency cases or in any hard situations. Secondly, it includes many useful apps such as Map, Navigation, Emails and IM. Thirdly, "Digital Natives," as Prensky described them, use a smartphone in social media continuously to know what is going on around the world. Therefore, the smartphones play a big role in this generation because it is a quantum leap in the world of technology.

    2. How have changes in society impacted the educational system? Are students different than they were 20 years ago? If so, in what ways? How does this affect the classroom?
It is clear that a society can impact on the education system either negatively or positively. Each generation has a different datum and outputs from the others, so the education system could change with that different. They can effect in each other easily. If the education can build a society and the society can build or harm the education system. Therefore, schools should keep up with this huge information revolution by using the educational technology.

Students are different than they were 20 years ago in more than point. The main point is that the new students are more aware and careful in legal aspects and educational. That is caused by the huge information revolution on website. All students can search about the policy of schools, issues or any other information they may need. As Prensky (2001) states, “They function best when networked." In addition, they are expert on the Internet world, which may lead them to get better opportunities in Labor market. Also, they have special skills as Prensky (2001) states, "They like to parallel process and multi-task... They prefer their graphics before their text rather than the opposite... They prefer random access (like hypertext)." Therefore, teachers need to know all those skills, and how should they deal with digital natives students professionally to achieve the aims of the lesson quickly and easily.

    3. What proactive steps can improve the educational system? Where should schools focus educational investments?
Schools should offer an educational technology in each classroom, provide E-Books for all students instead of the textbook and try to bridging the digital divide in schools and students' house. Moreover, give teachers training courses to use the educational technology effectively. Regarding educational investments, schools should focus on build modern buildings and design good classrooms to be commensurate with students' needs "digital natives".

    * The technology trend that has a strongest impact on society is smartphone. Smartphones facilitate our life. People can do many things in their smartphone, they communicate with each other, searching on Google, checking their email, listening to their favorite music, capturing their moments using the camera on their smartphone, and doing many task anytime and anywhere all they need is connecting to the internet. Therefore, we can say that smartphone is facilitating our life.

*Any changes that happened in the society impacted the educational system. With generation who are surrounded with all different technologies, schools integrate technology in their educational system. Teachers and students in these days classroom are using smart board, computers, ipads more often.
Students are different than they were 20 years ago. They prefer getting the information fast rather that step by step, they are multitasking, and they are using technology all the time. These changes on the students affect the classroom in many ways. Learning methods starting to be faster, multitasking, and integrating technology more often.

    * What proactive steps can improve the educational system? They should start replacing books with eBooks and iPads. Teachers need to be prepared to teach “digital natives”. The improving steps should focus in integrating technology into classroom besides caring of making the education better and more efficient for digital natives who learn different than the students in the past.
Where should schools focus educational investments?
The investments should focus on integrating technology into classrooms

1 - What technology trends are having the strongest impact on society?
Smartphones has become means of social communication, entertainment and knowledge. As a result, it has become more prevalent among children and adolescents, and it has increased duration of spending time with those devices to become an addiction for some people which is meant literally when they wake up from a bed to find their hands move towards the phone to see who communicate with them. The problem is not using electronic communication devices, but problematic is how we can reduce it harms unbalance in sleep because of forcing self to wake up to late to check their phone which affects the mood. This does not mean that there are no benefits and advantages of electronic devices which provide a lot of time and effort, but we have to train ourselves on the proper of use to be more benefits than harm.
2 - How have changes in society impacted the educational system? Are students different than they were 20 years ago? If so, in what ways? How does this affect the classroom?
There are several factors affecting education, and these factors change society. What we observe today is the use of electronic devices, and this society change impacts on the education for various methods which include time, effort and cost. In terms of time, I would speak as a student studying abroad, and the changes that have occurred in society changed the style of traditional education, which depends on attend of lectures on the time. However, it is possible attend online classes through internet and where I am. In term of effort, searching for books and references exhausts students, but through electronic libraries provide effort. In term of cost, some countries sell books with high price, and students may not be able to purchase, but students can buy books from website with low price. Therefore, no one before 20 years could study easily like now, and they could lost if they did not attend their class. Because, there are no way to communicate with their teacher to know about the lecture, and no way to collect information by quick searching.
    3. What proactive steps can improve the educational system? Where should schools focus educational investments?
Today, most of students depend on computer or iPad, and school can exploit this technology to replace paper books to digital books, which reduce the financial cost for students and schools.
Also, some students feel ashamed to participate in the classroom in front of other students, but through a discussion board the shy student can express his opinion freely. As well as for non-native speakers can participate freely and without linguistic mistakes. In addition, opening a way for free reading that can let students to search for topics from the Internet freely.

    * What technology trends are having the strongest impact on society? Describe the changes. I think cell phones and ipods have the strongest impact on modern technology. People are able to keep contact on social media by checking their cellphone. It is the quickest and easiest way to communicate with others. Cellphones and ipods are also helpful for traveling purposes ''Global Positioning System". Ipods and cellphones are in revolving trend in the world of technology
    * How have changes in society impacted the educational system? Are students different than they were 20 years ago? If so, in what ways? How does this affect the classroom? It is evident that society can impact an education system. Children often time pick up habits in society and display them in the classroom. Some habits are positive and negative. Society can help or hurt the educational system. Students are different than they were 20 years ago. Technology has changed and students have grown an awareness of educational aspects. Students today are very advanced in technology. This is good because it will lead up to better educational opportunities and transformation
    * What proactive steps can improve the educational system? Where should schools focus educational investments? Teachers need to improve their methods of teaching and reach the comprehension of students. Every student learns differently for as visually and hands on. Schools should focus investments on technology since the students are born using in classrooms.

•What technology trends are having the strongest impact on society? Describe the changes.

Technological trends are having a substantial impact on an educational system and hence society. Following the research, although lacked concrete conclusions, presented by technology advocates, mostly schools in U.S started investing in computers instead of launching music and art classes, hiring music teachers, librarians and promoting vocational skills and practical learning processes. Society is on a new round of technology in which computers are being made a part of classrooms as much as blackboards and teachers in all the schools. In short, computers are given more importance than field trips and shop classes, learning practical skills involving nature

•How have changes in society impacted the educational system? Are students different than they were 20 years ago? If so, in what ways? How does this affect the classroom?

The changes in society such as preferring computers technology over learning practical skills is negatively effecting educational system. Clinton administration has succeeded in his effort to make computer sit on each desk of classroom mostly in all the schools. In opposite to the claims of promoters of computerize learning, it has been shown in the article that availability of computers in classrooms has not made an adequate improvements in students’ tests grades. In addition, it has reduced purchases of school books, deteriorated investment in field trips, shop classes, learning of job skills and weakened students’ attention to language learning. In short, students are different than they were twenty years ago. Hence, the computerize learning ignore the importance of learning getting in touch with physical world.

•What proactive steps can improve the educational system? Where should schools focus educational investments?

In the article, Steven jobs, one of the founders of Apple computer argued that educational shortcomings cannot be fixed with technology. Furthermore, the consultant to Apple, Jane David also advised not to use technology as a problem solver. Hence, the finest solution is to change the investment planning and preferences. Instead of spending huge amount of money on an ardent campaign launched by Clinton, spending should be made available to lunch programs that promote learning through sensory pathways such as listening, reading, thinking, talking etc. Furthermore, focusing on programs such as shop classes, field trips and promoting teaching skills is also essential to solve weaknesses of educational system.
